I've failed, againand just like last time: It sucks!
Maybe even more than last time because I thought I would do better and I didn't,
so I feel angry at myself and I spent some time beating myself up.
I thought:
Well, maybe it's not my thing.
Maybe I should give up.
Maybe I just can't do it.
But then I stopped thinking all those negative things. I just stopped,
because you know what?
If you failed at something, it does not mean that you are incapable.
It means that in that moment, with the effort you made and the available resources, tools, skills and knowledge you had in that point in time and under those circumstances you were not successful.
If you failed at something, it does not mean that you are incapable.
It means that, indeed you failed
and that you were granted an opportunity to learn from your mistakes.
It means that, indeed you failed
and that you were granted an opportunity to learn from your mistakes.
It means that you got a chance to learn from your experience,
and that the next time, with the right amount of effort, with more resources, knowledge, tools and skills (and possibly under different, less unfortunate circumstances) you will succeed!
and that the next time, with the right amount of effort, with more resources, knowledge, tools and skills (and possibly under different, less unfortunate circumstances) you will succeed!
Or maybe you won't..
Maybe you'll try again next time and fail (again and that sucks even more),
but failing does not mean you are incapable,
Imagine, if that was the case nothing would have become of the human race (nothing!)
It's a bit cliche: but, like many other things we have to learn, we did not learn to walk in one day.
So you failed this time and maybe you will fail again next time.
Keep trying. Every time you fail, you fail one step forward towards succes.
It's all part of the learning process.
