Good job Facebook!

I believe life is a constant learning process and every single moment in life offers you an opportunity to learn something, to develop yourself and to grow. And I believe that by sharing things you know with others (by modelling it, telling about it or being open for discussions) you can help each other in your individual learning processes by creating these opportunities for collective learning. No one knows every thing but everyone knows something and by sharing your knowledge and skills with each other you can help each other to grow.

Learning together is so much fun! I experienced this once again in my last journey to Prague. I've learned so much in 5 days, more than I could have ever imagined from being in this different place with so many different (educated) people with different but also shared interests, from different countries all over the world. This reminds of the post I wrote about sharing some common ground but learning the most when you encounter differences.

I'll share this link now so you can read this after finishing this post if you happen to be interested, but first finish reading this one: Take it one thing at a time!
Travel to come home

I think it's important to keep learning. But I don't think you should learn for the sake of learning, but that you should learn because you love to learn. Not everyone can be interested in every thing but everyone is interested in something. Life will teach you many things, some lessons are optional and other lessons are obligatory. But for the part that is optional you can choose to learn about the things you love. And you know what they say: You learn the most from your experiences. It's not until you do something that you really  know how it works.

Which again reminds me of several posts I wrote about learning, knowledge and wisdom, but they're mostly written in Dutch unfortunately. I will continue translating but translating 250+ posts is a lot of work. So bear with me...

I see every moment in life is an opportunity to learn but also as an opportunity to enjoy. I think in life you should do whatever you love, whatever you feel intrinsically motivated to do. If you're not intrinsically motivated, what are you doing it for?
For example I like doing those little nonsense quizzes and tests on Facebook that give results that usually absolutely rubbish but so entertaining. Facebook is wrong a lot of times, for example the time when it said, based on my profile, that I don't care about health. I am planning on reaching 100 years, of course I care about health!

But today Facebook was right! For this reason, Facebook deserves a sticker. Do you remember back then when you were a child, how happy you would get as a child when you received a sticker, which sometimes also led to another bigger reward if you collected a lot of stickers, for doing a good job?

So here's my message to you. Good job Facebook!
