I was working at a 4 star restaurant. First we, two other temps and I, had to help prepare the breakfast buffet for the hotel guests. When had just finished doing the guests started to walk in. We had to make sure we didn't run out of anything and assist the guests if they had any questions or requests plus we had to clear the tables after they were finished.
One of my colleagues told me a lady had asked her to make a a cappuccino for her, while the lady was standing right in front of the coffee machine. My colleague had literally told her: 'Well here's the coffee machine!', but she still insisted that my colleague made it for her, so my colleague eventually did her the favor and pressed the button for her. Most of the guests were really friendly, but some had a whole lot of excrement stuck in between their ears. Who did they think they are? ![]() |

Some guests brought their kids along. The kids need to eat too (but what..and how?)
One little girl that had been sitting in the restaurant, with what seemed to be her whole extended family, had been very creative with the sugar. She had been playing with it for a while (her parents did not even react on it) and had spread it all over the table and the couch. I had been able to laugh when I saw her at it and I was prepared for cleaning the mess she had made, but it turned out that her cute brother who had been sitting on the other side of the table had also been creative and had decorated a part of his chair with nutella.

Two other kids in the restaurant had been sitting at the table with their parents and both kids, I'm guessing about 6 and 8 years old, were literally eating the nutella, licking it out of the single serving packages of nutella, one after the other. I think they ate 4 packages per person, excluding the nutella they put on their sandwiches. Their parents helped them to open the packages and refocused their attention on their phones.
They were acting like little animals, but I know it wasn't their fault. They were great little darlings.
